Whitehouse can advise you on a range of technology options and a number of different support options available to you.
Whitehouse understands that customers want their business issues addressed in a cost-effective, efficient way. We can advise on the most appropriate solution for each customerís situation, or when customers have a preferred platform we work with their existing partners. Whitehouse is in a position to call upon and work in conjunction with our established hardware partners, whose value lies in their deep understanding of your IT infrastructure needs.
EnterpriseOne has been designed to operate on several different platforms and databases. Currently there are 3 platforms that are supported: Windows (2003, XP), Unix (IBM, HP, SUN) and the IBM iSeries (AS/400).
One of the considerations for both new and existing customers is how to manage their software and hardware infrastructure in the most efficient and cost effective way. With a third-party support provider, customers can substantially improve cost structure and receive enormous IT cost and performance advantages, quickly and reliably. Through an application support provider a customer will benefit from the enhanced application functionality and high service levels that users demand. This allows businesses to focus resources (people and capital) on resolving strategic issues and to protect its investment in an enterprise application and unlock the most value from it.
There are a number of options to consider:
Have your complete system, both hardware and software, managed and maintained by a third party. Services can include technical application management, technical process monitoring, application, system and data integration, data management and data quality services.
Keep your hardware on site but have your applications managed remotely; typically the provision of second line and third line support services (both application and technical) to a customer's internal support team.
Whitehouse offers a helpdesk to address customer's issues and queries. Typically customers buy a block of pre-paid consultancy and issues such as applications, bespoke software, CNC and Oracle DBA can all be supported. A dedicated support operation provides quick resolution of queries, which means that customers maximise the productiveness of their software.
