Two long term Oracle Certified Advantage Partners become one

Peak Systems and Whitehouse Consultants, both long established JD Edwards specialists have come together, working under the Whitehouse brand. The focus of the business remains JD Edwards: bringing industry-specific Oracle Accelerate Solutions to the market and servicing the needs of the mid-size business; working with JD Edwards customers over the long term to maximise solution value.

Ian Silvester, formerly Chairman of Whitehouse Consultants, is commencing his well-earned retirement. As many Whitehouse clients know, this is likely to include wildlife and steam train photography and supporting the English cricket team. 

Adrian Coss, formerly MD of Peak Systems, is now leading the company forward using the established Whitehouse name and brand. All other contacts at Peak Systems and Whitehouse Consultants remain in post, working together as a combined force at Whitehouse Consultants.

Whitehouse partner with Hyperion

Following a successful partnership with Hyperion on a recent project, Whitehouse has now been appointed a Hyperion Partner. Hyperion, one of Oracle’s recent acquisitions, develops financial consolidation and reporting solutions and enterprise planning tools.

New customers signed

Whitehouse Consultants has completed two new JD Edwards’ EnterpriseOne release 8.12 signings, confirming the ongoing growth and development of the product by Oracle and its continuing appeal to companies looking for new enterprise management solutions. The companies are a large property funds management company which has purchased Finance, Procurement and Property Management; and a company in the entertainment sector who will implement Finance, Procurement, Property Management, Payroll, Expense Management and HR modules.

It's time to face an upgrade: Migrating from JD Edwards World Software A7.3 Cum 11 to Cum 16

Oracle has announced Lifetime Support and Applications Unlimited - World will be supported indefinitely. A9 has been announced, including all the functionality in A7 and A8 plus much more. With a new HTML front end and many enhancements, including Crystal Reports, upgrading is back on the agenda. World customers have been paying maintenance for years and now its time to get something for that money.

ArcTools/400 version 7

New version of data purging and archiving utility now available. Includes enhanced ease-of-use, data selection capabilities and date calculation features

A new release of Arctools/400, the purging and archiving tool for iSeries machines now available. ARCTOOLS allows companies running AS/400 and iSeries to optimise their disk utilisation. ARCTOOLS allows infrequently accessed data to be moved 'out of the way' of the production environment, yet keeps this data available for production reports and inquiries.

The effect of the data archive is that the production system speeds up again.

Whitehouse Consultants has become a partner of the Accounting Intelligence software provider, The GL Company. The solution, Really Real Time, is a new approach to reporting. Viasys Healthcare is the first customer to implement Really Real Time solution as a result of Whitehouse’s new partnership.

The ArcTools/400 customer base continues to grow, as the purging and archiving solution has just been implemented by the 100th J.D. Edwards site. Customers include Cargill Inc. and Hyundai Car (UK) Ltd. As well as J.D. Edwards, ArcTools can be run over any legacy software also resident on the AS/400/I-Series platform. The product has been granted ‘IBM Server Proven’ certification.

ArcTools/400 allows you to purge, archive and reorganise files without programming and without locking users out of the system.

The Upgrade 8* Special Interest Group has invited a number of services providers to participate in a forum on Friday 10th September where customers can learn about the methodologies involved in the upgrade process. The day is aimed particularly at those customers who need to upgrade from OneWorld Xe to PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne. The day will cover both applications and technical issues.
The event will be held at British Sugar's Holmewood Hall Conference Centre, just outside Peterborough. The day will be free of charge for customers with a maximum of 2 delegates per company. Attendees will be responsible for their own transport and accommodation costs.

EasyReporting version 2.6.0 is now available.
The new release is now fully compatible with PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne 8.9 as well as previous versions and the EasyReporting toolset can now be used with Excel 2003 as well as Excel for XP, 2000 and 97. Other new features include Business Unit Security for PeopleSoft World and a Spreadsheet Analysis Utility to improve the performance of EasyReporting functions.

Cum 15 released for PeopleSoft World
The first release of PeopleSoft World, under the new branding was announced during March 2004. PeopleSoft World A7.3 cum 15 includes more than 250 new features and enhancements, ranging across the Financial Management, Supply Chain Management and Human Capital Management applications. The new release also features a new web-based user interface, which will allow users access to critical business information through an internet browser.

Whitehouse Consultants appointed J.D. Edwards distributor in Poland
Whitehouse Consultants Sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw, was founded in 1998 and has built a strong reputation for its implementation skills in the Polish market. The company has particular expertise in the Pharmaceutical, Chemical and Packaged Goods sectors. Customers include both international groups and Polish-based companies, such as Lafarge (Cement, Concrete and Aggregates divisions), Total and Bims Plus. Already a services partner, the company was appointed as a distributor for J.D. Edwards software in April 2003.

Whitehouse appoints a US agent to resell EasyReporting, the business intelligence tool
After the phenomenal success of EasyReporting's debut appearance at Focus 2002 Whitehouse has taken the step of opening a reseller channel to the US J. D. Edwards market. On the last day of the conference Whitehouse presented EasyReporting to an audience of nearly 300 delegates, 70 of which requested Demonstration versions of the product.

Fujitsu selects Whitehouse Consultants to provide J.D. Edwards solution
Fujitsu General UK is working with Whitehouse Consultants to implement the J.D. Edwards ERP solution, OneWorld. This solution will replace Fujitsu's existing Pegasus system. Fujitsu has chosen OneWorld for its increased functionality, better reporting tools, and because it is a truly multinational and multilingual system.
